Started the day off waking Karen, Yen and Ron up at 7AM. It's amazing how my voice simply invigorates others :D
It's been a while since I had been an alarm clock. Feels nice. I had an early breakfast at Karen's house while waiting for Ron. It was the first time I've ever had boiled egg and I quite liked it. Although it was a bit early, I was pretty excited to finally do/go (?) 1000 steps. Finally, finally, after all these years, I'm finally able to do it! The journey was...interesting. I think we're going to make this an annual tradition! After the amazing fun, we went shopping and had lunch at Paesano.

Since we started the day early, we still the whole day ahead of us. After lunch we went to Southland for more shopping fun. But what now? The beach of course. On one of the hottest days of the summer. Boy did we have fun. I think we had the most fun during the car rides though, taking turns putting our phones/iPod on speaker.
